Abstract: Based on the data of 27 China´s manufacturing industry segments, this paper focused on how the transition of China´s manufacturing industry from interindustry trade to intra-industry trade affected the industry wage gap using fixed effects regression panel model with constant coefficientEmpirical studies provided two important conclusions: (1) during the transition of manufacturing trade patterns, exports expanded industry wage gap, while imports narrowed the wage gap; (2) the transition of manufacturing trade patterns expanded the wage gap mainly through the price mechanism, while the effect of technical mechanisms and individual mechanisms were not significant
