Abstract: The modern monetary standard mode has broken through the appearance of "goods" in traditional "currency valuating goods",changing into cost economic analysis of information economic analysis and institutional evolution.The modern model,starting from monetary standard's minimizing information collecting cost and social value foundation of currency,discusses the choice principle of monetary standard.Monetary standard has evolved from monetary standard of undeveloped economy to that of developed economy.So the choice of monetary standard is important institutional factor influencing the developing level of economy.
