2020 is the most extraordinary year in China's macroeconomic history. Under the correct leadership of the party and the government, China has successfully won the double victories of the COVID19 epidemic prevention war and the economic defense war, showing once again the remarkable advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and the resilience of China's economy. 2021 is the year when the two Centennial goals meet and transform, and the first year to implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and start the strategic transformation of the 14th five year plan. According to the deployment of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the outline of the 14th five year plan was adopted and implemented to move towards a new development pattern of “taking domestic circulation as the main body and promoting domestic and international double circulation mutually”, which determines that strategic transformation and strategic replacement will be the core theme of economic operation in 2021.
